1 Peter 5:10 (NIV)
"And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."
Psalm 22:24 (NIV)
"For He has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; He has not hidden His face from him but has listened to his cry for help."
Phillippians 4:13 (NIV)
"I can do all this through Him who gives me strength."
Mark 13:12-13 (NIV)
"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved."

1. People focus on the "do all this through Him" and take it as "I can do anything because God is on my side."
2. "Since God is on my side, I will always be happy."

1. What does it mean to "suffer"?

a. KT: a girl reached out to her family and church and received medical help, but she still endures depression and anxiety to this day, why?
